Left wing radical liberals love accusing everyone else of fascism and authoritarianism.  Meanwhile they spout at every chance they get censorship, cancel culture, two-tier justice, and ‘punch a Nazi’ rhetoric.  That’s not coincidence — it’s psychological projection.  They see in others what they do themselves.

So, what is this all about?  Projection is indeed a psychological defense mechanism that protects the person’s ego by externalizing guilt, shame, or anxiety they can’t tolerate in themselves. Instead of confronting their own flaws, they “see” those flaws in other people and attack them there.  It was originally described by Sigmund Freud.  

This has become the left wing radical liberal playbook.  Accuse MAGA and other conservatives of the VERY same behaviors they themselves exhibit every day.  It is their favorite duo – hypocrisy and projection. 

Left wing radical liberals and their propaganda media outlets, activists, and institutions routinely condemn conservative supporters, those who back border security, law and order, free speech, and America first policies.  Projection isn’t just occasional, it is the default operating system.  The left wing liberal hypocrisy of preaching one standard while practicing another provides them with cover.  The result is a relentless smear campaign that paints conservatives as the threat while the left wing radical liberals own record exposes the actual truth.

INSURRECTION AND THREATS TO DEMOCRACY – the left’s crown jewel of accusations begins with allegations that January 6^th, 2021, was an armed insurrection that came within “inches of ending American democracy.”  Conservatives are branded domestic terrorists, election deniers, and authoritarians for a riot in which five people died.  It should be noted four from natural causes or related medical emergencies and one police officer died shortly after from unrelated causes.  Cameras live streamed the overwhelming majority of entrants who walked through open doors or were ushed in BY THE POLICE. 

Meanwhile, Antifa and Black Lives Matter “mostly peaceful protests” burned down cities.  Those left wing liberal radical riots caused over $2 billion in insured damages, destroyed thousands of businesses (mostly minority owned in minority neighborhoods), injured over 2000 cops, and resulted in roughly 24 deaths. 

Kamala Harris came out in public to support a bail fund for arrested rioters. 

When left wing radical liberals torch police precincts, occupy federal buildings, and declare autonomous zones it is “racial justice”.  When a handful of conservates act like idiots it is the new Civil War. 

ELECTION DENIAL AND UNDERMINING DEMOCRACY – left wing radical liberals simply never tire of labeling conservative as “election deniers” for questioning 2020’s integrity.  Yet the EXACT SAME PLAYBOOK has been the left wing radical liberal’s standard procedure for DECADES now.  Think back to when Hillary Clinton called Donald Trump an “illegitimate president” after the 2016 election and spent years promoting the Russian collusion hoax.  We all now know this was later exposed as a Clinton campaign funded operation and thoroughly debunked by the Mueller Report and Durham Investigation. 

Stacey Abrams has built an ENTIRE CAREER denying her 2018 Georgia loss. 

In 2020, 51 former intelligence officials, many with quite deep Democratic affiliations, signed a letter dismissing the Hunter Biden laptop as “Russian disinformation”.  This the FBI was well aware of.  Social media platforms were pressured by the Biden campaign and government officials to suppress the story in the final weeks of the election. 

The very same people screaming that questioning elections is “anti-democratic” spent years and billions in legal fees trying to impeach Trump over a phone call, remove him from ballots via made up legal theories, and censor stories that hurt their candidate. 

If skepticism about election integrity is fascism, the left wing radical liberals wrote the manual. 

AUTHORITARIANISM, CENSORSHIP, AND FASCISM – Trump is endlessly called a fascist, a dictator, and a threat to “our democracy”.  Yet under Democratic administrations we witnessed and experienced unprecedented government collusion with Big Tech to silence dissent.  Examples include the Twitter Files, the Facebook Files, and congressional testimony revealing the BIDEN White House, the CDC, and the FBI flagged and suppressed conservative speech on COVID policy, election integrity, and Hunter Biden. 

Who forced the entire country to remain under house arrest?  Who forced untested vaccinations on the entire population?  Who demanded “proof” (vaccination card) of inoculation prior to letting you go shopping or out to eat?  Who told employers to fire you if you didn’t get the jab?  Go ahead, you can say it, I know it hurts – the left wing radical liberals.

Parents who showed up at school board meetings to protect mask mandates and explicit curricula were labeled as “domestic terrorists” by the National School Boards Association and the Department of Justice. 

The left wing radical liberals that lecture about book bans encouraged and celebrated when Amazon, Apple, and Google deplatformed conservative voices, books, and apps.  Cancel culture, doxxing, and professional destruction for “wrong think” became the left wing radical liberal enforcement arm. 

The authoritarianism they project to conservatives is the EXACT BEHAVIOR they demonstrate.

RACISM, DIVISION, AND IDENTITY POLITICS – no accusation has landed more soundly than “MAGA is racist”.  (We won’t even get into the Southern Poverty Law Center, and ultra left wing radical liberal group, funding the KKK.). Secure borders, ending race based affirmative action, and demanding color-blind merit are twisted into accusations of “white supremacy”.  How idiotic!!!  Left wing radical liberals claim conservative’s insistence on FAIRNESS FOR ALL is white supremacy.  What am I missing – especially considering the left wing radical liberal policies deliver the OPPOSITE of racial progress.

Decades of Democratic running of major cities and the absolute rot it produced in failing schools, record urban crime disproportionately harming black and Hispanic communities, and family breakdown, while blaming the “systemic racism” and offering more government programs.  DEI mandates openly discriminate against Asians and whites in hiring, admissions, and contracting.  Critical Race Theory is teaching children that skin color determines guilt or victimhood. 

The same politicians who call border enforcement racist support sanctuary policies that strain public resources in poor minority neighborhoods and block school choice that would help inner city kids escape failing public schools. 

Meanwhile Trump’s First Step Act and opportunity zones showed immediate and measurable improvements for minority communities. 

MISINFORMATION AND THE BIG LIE – left wing radical liberals position themselves as guardians against “disinformation and accuse conservatives of fact free alternative reality living.  Yet the greatest disinformation campaign since WW II was led by the left wing radical liberals.  The Steele dossier, the “very fine people” hoax, the Covington Catholic smear, the Jessie Smollett fraud, and the coordinated suppression of the lab leak theory.  Media and tech giants acting as left wing radical liberal propaganda outlets amplified these narratives and buried contradictory evidence.  And when the facts eventually emerged, the response wasn’t an apology, it was to double down and accuse the truth tellers of stochastic terrorism. 

Projection once again from the side that weaponized institutions to control the information environment accuses its opponents of being the real threat to the truth.  The pattern too blatantly consistent to be coincidental. 

Every time the left wing radical liberals scream “fascist”, “racist”, “threat to democracy”, or “misinformation”, even a sixth grader can see their own reflection staring them back.  This isn’t debate.  This is outright deflection. 

The conservative’s actual platform of secure borders, energy independence, school choice, free speech, and equal justice under the law doesn’t require demonizing opponents to succeed.  The left wing radical liberal accusations succeed only because they project their own tactics onto the one group refusing to play along.

“Threat to democracy” rhetoric: critics on the left frequently label opponents as existential threats to democracy, while supporting acts like law fair against political rivals, expansive government surveillance, or pressure on tech platforms to censor dissenting views. This mirrors accusations of authoritarianism leveled at the conservative right.

Racism and anti racism: some self-described anti racists or proponents of DEI initiatives are accused of practicing racial essentialism or discrimination. Anti racist have been criticized for monopoly like application of racial lenses that echo the very same prejudices they condemn.

Election integrity and rigging allegations: accusations of the right trying to steal or undermine elections while examples exist of the left wing radical liberal’s efforts like changing rules mid pandemic, big tech moderation favoring one side, or downplaying irregularities in their favor. Projection flips when power shifts.

Fascism and authoritarianism labels: broadly applying fascist to conservatives while endorsing the liberal tactics like speech codes, cancel culture, or compelled speech.

Hypocrisy Examples

Climate / Environmentalism: Prominent advocates like celebrities and politicians preach urgent carbon reduction and lifestyle changes while flying in private jets, owning multiple large homes, or attending by emission events. COVID lockdowns amplified this.

Wealth inequity and “Eat the Rich”: Leaders like Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Barack Obama, or Joe Biden criticize excessive wealth and capitalism, yet amass significant personal fortunes, net worth in the millions or 10s of millions, and enjoy elite lifestyles.

Gun control: Strong pushes for restrictions on civilian ownership, often by those with armed security details or who live in protected enclaves, while opposing similar scrutiny for their own protection.

COVID Rules and Elites: Strict public masking and distancing mandates were outright ignored by officials and politicians at private events, hair salons, or family gatherings.  Examples of Newson, Whitmer, and Cuomo were examples that were widely covered.  There was even a press conference that went live before the left wing liberal radicals had the chance to pull their masks from their pockets and “mask up” for the camera. 

Free Speech and Cancel Culture: Championing expression and dissent historically, but supporting deep platforming, disinvited nations, or corporate censorship when views diverge.  One blatant example is outright interference, including cancelling, conversative speeches on college campuses. 

Criminal Justice and Defund the Police: Calls to reduce policing funding or portray police as systemic oppressors, while many advocates hire private security or support tough on crime policies when crime affects their residential areas.

Identity and Tolerance: Promoting diversity and inclusion while enforcing ideological conformity through academia, Hollywood, or tech that excludes dissenting minorities within protective groups.

Foreign Policy and Selective Outrage: Strong stances on certain human rights abuses or wars, but relative silence on others- Syria, Iran, Yemen, or domestic inconsistencies on policing versus military aid.

Fortunately, the American public is increasingly noticing the left wing radical liberal charade.
