Some kid standing in line in front of me thought he could score some points with his friends by turning to me and asking my opinion on I.C.E. Agents wearing masks. Hoping to avoid answering I asked him why they shouldn’t wear masks. He said because they can’t be identified as real I.C.E. Agents. So I asked how did he know if they were real I.C.E. Agents going around wearing masks. He said, well, they’re showing up in unmarked vans, a bunch of them are jumping out, and they’re grabbing people they say are illegal immigrants and putting them in cuffs and taking them away. So I said, soooooooo you CAN identify them as I.C.E. Agents with their masks !!!!!! Realizing how stupid he sounded he turned back around, leaned over into a whispered huddle with his friends, made some snide remark and they all started laughing. Score: old white male baby-boomer 1 – over educated but no intelligence 20 year olds ZERO. 

Eleanor Holmes Norton is a congresswoman in Washington D.C. She is 88 years old. She was recently scammed by a group of people posing as a cleaning crew, losing thousands of dollars and personal data.

The police suggest she shows obvious signs of dementia. And she is running for election – AGAIN!!!!!!

It is not that I don’t have sympathy for her loss nor do I not have empathy for her medical state but come on folks, if she can’t even defend herself, she can’t defend your interests in congress.

More media lies. The media is reporting DC restaurant reservations plunged 31% compared to 2024 because of the Federal take over of the streets. Really? Let me get his straight, people are more AFRAID now that the streets are SAFER. I smell bullshit. Data analyzed by Open Table, an app used to make reservations, compared this month in 2025 to the same month in 2024. Spoiler alert – the media lied. The media forgot to mention that in 2024 DC had a huge Restaurant Week with over 350 establishments participating. That event didn’t happen this year.

So, first let us start with the ill informed masses who when questioned about their protest can’t even elaborate or give examples.

Now let us go with the immature, equally ill informed response. If this was a dictatorship you would all be put up against a wall and shot.

Now I’ll try my own poorly structured and equally poorly researched response. We don’t live in a democracy. If we did you would still lose because a greater number of Americans reject the radical liberal / Marxist / Socialist agenda as exemplified in last November’s election.

Rather, we live in a Republic with three main and rather equal branches of government. Your actions via numerous state and federal lawsuits make it clear you still have a voice. You still have recompense.

So other than displaying your ignorance on a wide range of issues and instead of listening to a bunch of multimillionaire career politicians who have obviously been taking money out of pockets for years, start researching issues on your own.

You will be sadly shocked to find out you’re on the wrong side of history.

Watch any mass media talking heads show on CNN, MSNBC, PBS, NBC, ABC and the like and you will eventually see someone like Maxine Walters, Chuck Schumer, Bernie Sanders, AOC, Don Lemmon, MSN, The Atlantic, VOX, Wired, etc. warning of the cataclysmic civil war Donald Trump so desperately wants.  How his actions are threatening the public and crashing the economy.  How he is hurting the working class.  How he is endangering the elderly.  

Hmmm.

Then, now that I have brought that to your attention, take a look at what is really going on and who is really doing it.  

Crazed Liberals, especially those with Trump Derangement Syndrome, are attacking Jewish students; taking over college campuses in support of terrorists; torching buildings; encouraging people to dump a publicly traded commodity while causing damage to their own state’s pension system and threatening people’s jobs; damaging people’s personal property; and verbally abusing and cursing out people who do not think, look and act like them.  

And then, and then you have Thursday, March 20^th, 2025, when the Senate Minority Leader of the United States, Chuck Schumer, during an interview on PBS.ORG/NEWSHOUR called for civil war.  

He said, and I quote, “We are mobilizing in New York.  We have people going to the Republican Districts and going after these Republicans who are voting for this and forcing them to either change their vote or face the consequences.  This is a long relentless fight that we fight every day, and I am confident we will bring Trump’s popularity numbers and strength down.  If we keep at it, keep at it, keep at it.”

As a side note, try that out in Suffolk County and see what happens.  Try that in Arizona and see what happens.  As the song goes, try that in a small town and see what happens.  

Is this 2025’s “shot heard around the world”?  Is this the Democratic / Liberal call for civil war?  

Before I get into the more serious issues with Schumer’s statement, let me point out the strategy is to “bring Trump’s popularity numbers and strength down”.  Really?  That’s their strategy.  They have absolutely nothing on policy so they’re going after “popularity”.  Wow.

Now, let’s talk about that “forcing them to either change their vote or face the consequences”.  Well, that’s a violation of several Federal Laws and I didn’t bother looking up New York’s laws as they are probably even stricter.

I imagine these are some of the illegal things the Democrats / Liberals plan on or are actually doing: violent or physical acts; improperly following, monitoring, harassing, or surveilling voters at polling places; actual or threatened publication of voters’ personal information; phone and physical canvassing that try to interrogate people about their voting status and history; baseless voter challenges, particularly those that target Republican voters.   

Fortunately, we have protections against Chuck Schumer’s thugs.  On the civil side we have the following provisions regarding protections against anti-intimidation:

Section 11(b) of the Voting Rights Act, 52 U.S.C. § 10307(b): prohibits actual or attempted “intimidation,” “threats,” or “coercion” against a person “for voting or attempting to vote” or “for urging or aiding any person to vote or attempt to vote.” No showing of intent to intimidate is required so long as the behavior has the effect of intimidating voters.

Section 131(b) of the Civil Rights Act of 1957, 52 U.S.C. § 10101(b): prohibits actual or attempted “intimidation,” “threats,” or “coercion” with the purpose of interfering with a person’s right to vote in federal elections.

Section 1 of the Enforcement Act of 1871 (“Ku Klux Klan Act”), 42 U.S.C. § 1983: prohibits any state official from violating the constitutional rights of any person, including the right to vote, the right to equal protection, and the right to due process.

Section 2 of the Enforcement Act of 1871 (“Ku Klux Klan Act”), 42 U.S.C. § 1985(1): prohibits two or more persons from conspiring to use “force, intimidation, or threat” to prevent a person from “discharging any duties” related to administering a federal election.

Section 2 of the Enforcement Act of 1871 (“Ku Klux Klan Act”), 42 U.S.C. § 1985(3): prohibits two or more persons from conspiring to use “force, intimidation, or threat” to deprive a person of equal protection, to hinder state officials in securing equal protection for others, or to prevent voters from engaging in lawful activity related to voting in federal elections.

And for all the allegations that Trump is a racist, a Nazi, a KKK sympathizer I find it ironic the Liberal / Democratic behavior is subject to prosecution because of the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871.

On the criminal side of the issue, we note the penalties for doing what Chuck Schumer says is being done:

Section 12 of the National Voter Registration Act of 1993, 52 U.S.C. § 20511(1)(A): provides criminal penalties for “knowing” and “willful” actual or attempted intimidation, threats, or coercion against any person registering to vote, voting, or attempting to register or vote. It also protects those who urge or aid any person to do the same.

18 U.S.C. § 241: provides criminal penalties for any person who conspires with another to intimidate any person exercising a constitutional right, including the right to vote.

18 U.S.C. § 242: provides criminal penalties for a state official who willfully subjects a citizen to the deprivation of a constitutional right, including the right to vote.

18 U.S.C. § 594: provides criminal penalties for any person who intimidates or attempts to intimidate voters with the purpose of interfering with their right to vote.

52 U.S.C. § 10308(a): provides criminal penalties for any person who deprives or conspires to deprive a voter of their right to vote.

18 U.S.C. § 875(c): provides criminal penalties for any person who threatens to injure another person using methods of interstate communication.

So, what can you do?  First, know what people at the polls can and cannot do, especially poll monitors.

Poll monitors can be inside the polling place, but they are limits to the numbers.  Pollbooks can be inspected, and poll monitors CAN challenge the qualifications of voters.  Unofficial and self-proclaimed or designated election “observers” are not permitted inside a polling place.  Poll monitors CANNOT go inside an enclosed voting booth / machine; interact with voters (unless the voter needs help with the mechanics of the machine).

It is almost a joke now hearing all of those political pundits, washed up celebrities, social justice activists, and people trying to remain relevant saying they are leaving the country. Really?? So, what’s the tally? How many actually did it? If you check what ever social media app you prefer you’ll see there was a lot of big mouth talk but you can really only find two who actually did – Eva Longoria bounces back and forth between Spain and Mexico; Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia deRossi moved to the United Kingdom. I have to give them credit for putting their lives where their mouth was.

All the rest are just cry baby blow hards.

Let’s really think about what it means to leave your native country just because your candidate didn’t win the election.

First, it means you don’t respect the election outcome that is fundamental to democracy. You know, the same thing they are screaming about. If you really cared about democracy you would have tried to stay engaged and made sure your voice and your vote was heard in future elections.

Second, and this is what these social justice activists and political hacks LOVE – being able to advocate for change and claim to be part of a solution. Policies and leadership can only be influenced through some form of civic engagement (think Charlie Kirk), activism, and dialogue.

Third, the cost of making such a crazy move. Certainly, if you’re mega rich, you know the one who screams for “paying your fair share” while cheating the tax code at every turn, you have the financial ability to move. But, taxes in the socialist countries you crave to live in are going to sap your bank account. There is more economic stability if you stay put.

Fourth, shut your mouth. You’re not in Kansas anymore and your freedom of expression and speech, not to mention other constitutionally guaranteed rights and freedoms are GONE. You’re in a new land and you better watch what you say and post. There are other legal processes to consider and adapting to a new culture can be quite stressful. And, what makes you think another country is going to be happy to have an American trouble maker in the midst?

Finally, what about your family? Will your relationships be strained? Will your professional and person life be disrupted? Considering the pending doom and dread you predict are you leaving them to fend for themselves?

It is hysterical to a lot of people to see the pouting and literal crying because your candidate didn’t get in. You feel alone. You can’t believe people don’t think like you. Frankly, there are at least 77,284,118 million people who don’t think like you and probably more. Your morals, ethics, values, and oppression was rejected.

Then again, maybe it is a lot simpler. Maybe you’re just a coward.
