GOP Hammers Democrates for “Shutting Down Government”. Now …..

Is Trump really threatening to shut down the government unless he gets 25 billion for his wall? Wow. Rather a hypocritical slap in the face to the GOP.

By the way – 25 billion? I thought the Mexicans were paying for it.

Why His BIG Mouth Got Him Caught

Yesterday, Saturday, Feb. 3rd, Trump proclaimed the Nunes Memo “totally vindicates” him in the investigation regarding the proven Russian election interference.  Crying like the snowflake his core supports proclaim his adversaries to be, he called the continued investigation a “witch hunt”.

Let’s recall a few things:

  1. The Russian interference investigation started with Australian intelligence provided showing Popodopolous (or how ever you spell his name) was contacted by the Russians about emails from Hillary Clinton.
  2. Trump Jr.’s emails confirm this.
  3. Trump Sr. made a HUGE announcement, during his campaign, that they had “dirt” on the Clinton Campaign and alluded to the fact that it was in the form of emails.  (Not to mention his outspoken encouragement to the Russians to hack into the Democratic main frames.)  And, THAT’S where he gets caught.
  4. Not ONCE did any of the traitors the country, including Hope Hicks (who crafted Trump Jr.’s response / explanation of his own emails), go to the FBI.

 

The Nunes Memo did not, in any way, vindicate Trump.  It’s not that Trump just can’t keep his big fat mouth shut, it’s that the evidence against him grows and grows every day.  He knows it and he has to try to figure out a way to trick all in his core to believe he isn’t lying (something that seems to be very easy).

Let’s start with this:

We could end with that.

But, what we have is some asshole who pushed an ALTERED memo, that is, the memo he presented to the White House was NOT the approved memo from the Intelligence Committee.  He did so in direct opposition to members in his own party, members in the Democratic Party (they wanted the unedited version), members in the intelligence agencies, and members of the FBI and Justice Department.  What Nunes did, for head scratching reasons, was do Putin’s work for him.  Undermine our justice system, undermine the investigative personnel, undermine the FISA court, undermine the intelligence agencies.  Treason.  Period.

He tried to undermine the Russian Investigation – that’s obstruction of justice.

I can only hope that Trump now fires the several Justice Department and FBI officials as he has threatened to do.  THAT will be a constitutional crises.  One of which will lead to Trump’s impeachment.

Actually, now that I think of it, thanks Mr. Nunes.  You just started the impeachment wheels in motion.

 

Another GOP Screw Up / Democratic Rebuttal Memo – Really?

So, now that the truth is starting to come out, that the federal wire taps were NOT illegal, some GOP boneheads are now trying to change the narrative and, typical, blame it on Obama.  You see, when anyone is debating a GOP moron, and they (the moron) has nothing to argue about, they same something like, “well Obama did this, or Hillary did that”.

Now, the GOP narrative is that Obama ordered the wire tapping in Trump Tower during the elections.

Ok, WRONG, it wasn’t Obama, it was very low ranking members in the Justice Department.

GOP claims Obama was spying on his political enemies.

Ok, WRONG, a FOREIGN intelligence agency tipped off the CIA / FBI that Russians had been in contact with members of the Trump Campaign.

Ok, TRUE, and even Trump admits that’s true.

So, here are people in the GOP trying to discredit the investigation by saying it is politically motivated.

Ok, WRONG, the TOP 3 FBI AND JUSTICE DEPARTMENT OFFICIALS ARE REPUBLICANS AND TRUMP APPOINTEES.  Are you kidding me?  Politically motivated?  No, the facts that  are being discovered are so troubling even Republican appointees are saying, “Yeah, I’m not going to jail for Trump”.

For this jerk, Nunez, who CHANGED VARIOUS WORDING THROUGHOUT HIS MEMO AFTER IT HAD BEEN VETTED BY THE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE, to try to undermine the Russian Investigation is out right obstruction of justice.  PERIOD.  (Not to mention the fact that he doesn’t get to decide what evidence was “illegally” secured, that is for the trial judge to decide when Trump and his cronies go on trial.  A defense attorney will motion to quash / preclude the ill gotten evidence.)

One has to wonder, what is it that Nunez is so bent on trying to hide by floating a misleading, inaccurate, and inflammatory “memo”?

Now, just was BAD – Democratic members of the same Intelligence Committee have their own “rebuttal” memo????   !!!!   They’re all a bunch of morons.

Being “Secret” is Suspect to Begin With

We’re all starting to hear about a “secret” memo the GOP is about to release that will show the FBI investigation into collusion with the Russians is illegal or tainted or just Democratic intereference.

Discuss.

  1. Robert Meuller is a Republican.
  2. This “memo” alleges the FBI and Justice Department failed to “adequately” explain intelligence discovered to the judge who approved a search warrant. WHAT?? Is the GOP alleging the FBI lied, mislead, or faked out a federal judge??
  3. The GOP alleges the intelligence was part of research conducted by Christopher Steele, who was, at the time, being financed by the DNC. So what?  Does that make the information he discovered false?  No, in fact the GOP and Trump’s private attorneys have private investigators out there looking into everything!!!  Maybe we should now conclude anything THEY bring up is false as well???
  4. No information has publicly emerged that the Justice Department or the F.B.I. did anything improper while seeking the surveillance warrant. So, what’s with all the smoke and mirrors?  Another GOP attempt to discredit the collusion probe??
  5. Before we go any further, let’s remember Trump has been trying to fire Mueller and Rosenstein, the #2 at the Justice Department. THAT would be the nail in Trump’s coffin.  THAT would be obstructing justice.  An impeachable offense.
  6. Again, before we go any further, this Mr. Page clown, the subject of the surveillance,has been on the FBI radar SINCE 2013 when it was revealed a Russian spy tried to flip him !!!! The same Mr. Page was a Trump campaign associate.  Was he soliciting contributions from the Russians?  Was he the real go between for Trump and the Russians.  This, the same guy who in 2016, while working with Trump’s campaign, took a trip to Russia.  TO RUSSIA !!! ???  And, this is Meuller’s doing?? GOP morons.

Ah, It’s The Finances He’s Really Worried About

Trump says he WILL fire Mueller if he starts to look into Trump’s finances.  And, now the cat’s out of the bag.  Once Mueller starts looking at the finances, we’ll find clear connections, albeit probably legal business ones, with various Russian entities.  That certainly makes the case for collusion stronger if any of those entities were also trying to garner influence with Trump.

Frankly, if Trump fires Mueller Trump’s finished.  That’s obstructing justice, that’s an impeachable offense.

Ok, I’ll Be Fair – Let’s Take a Look

Let’s really take a look at the pledges and see what’s been done after one year.  Granted, I’ll admit, some of these pledges are going to take more than one year to implement.  But, frankly, for Trump to say, “We won’t tweet anymore – no presidential”, is a joke.

Hole v. House

Do you remember a few days ago Senators Perdue and Cotton said Trump never said “shithole” during the immigration meeting??  Essentially, they called all the other people in the room liars.  Funny considering the White House NEVER disputed his use of the word and came right out and said they supported his use of the word.  What ever.

Do you know what Purdue and Cotton said they DID hear?  “Oh, he didn’t say ‘shithole’, he said ‘shithouse'”.

Really?  That’s how they get to deny the President said “shithole”.  In fact, Cotton said, “I did not hear derogatory comments about individuals or persons.”  No kidding.  Nobody said he did.

Another example of lying for the President that makes them look PATHETIC.

The 11 Democratic Cowards (5 Republicans)

If I counted correctly, 11 Democrats voted YES during the first budget vote.  CNN was excusing the 11 Democrats by suggesting the only reason they voted YES was because they were up for re-election.

So, apparently those 11 members are in venues that might be heavy populated with members of the opposite party.  That is, the official might be a Democrat but the constituents are mostly Republican.

It would also seem that those 11 Democrats most likely always vote their party line NO MATTER WHAT THEIR CONSTITUENTS WANT – unless it’s an election year.  Essentially, those 11 Democrats have NOT been properly representing their constituents.

THIS is what’s wrong with our elected officials.  And, I’ve found Democrats to be slightly more guilty of this than Republicans.  I’ve said this in prior posts – we don’t give a fuck what you (the elected officials) think.  You are there to do OUR bidding, not your own and not to support your buddy from the other side of the country who took out for dinner in D.C. last week.

So, the next time there’s an important vote, make sure you do what your CONSTITUENTS want, not what your PARTY wants.
