Should I Stay or Should I Go

I stayed but it was ugly:

Shrug (95)

Recap: burpees still bothered my back from dead lifting on Sunday.

Uprights hurt elbow from hyper extension.

Shrugs hurt trapezius strain from shoulder / handstand push-ups last Monday.

But I could press the water fountain button multiple sets and reps – no problem.

Two-A-Days

Brentwood Ross Guys: remember these? Early August mornings followed by late afternoons. I remember being so sore. Much like today. My thighs are killing me from last night’s Ryan’s ad lib. This morning I did six sets of pull-ups followed by push-up position donkey kick into horizontal jumping jacks. At least I got sweaty, a little.

Not Today

Just couldn’t get up today.  My right side lower back is stiff and sore from yesterday’s deadlifts.  And, that’s a shame because there were a couple of really good Crossfit workouts posted today by different clubs.  Ironwood Crossfit had a great posting.  I might try to do that tonight with the boys.  Tonight, since all of us are usually in the house between 4 and 5pm, we’re going to meet at the gym.
