Now in my own defense some of the time was due to unpackaging; realigning the plastic waste pipes; splicing the wiring.

However, I do get the knucklehead award for: installing the unit BEFORE I attached the electrical (result: uninstall 1); wrapping the spray head flexible hose around the main waste pipe (result: uninstall 2); and during first test I discovered water pouring out from the main gasket because I didn’t align the unit perfectly (result: uninstall 3).  

But, now it works without a drip in sight!!!!!!!

I got tools.

So I did my due diligence: I interviewed the Home Depot Kitchen Sink Gargabe Disposal Expert; I looked up tips and tricks on the internet and even watched a You Tube Video showing how it is done. Finally, I went to the website for the company that makes the one I just bought.

 

Five minutes?  We’ll see.

It is a beautiful 70 degrees this morning. Normally shorts and t-shirt weather. But yesterday it was 98. So relatively speaking, a 28 degree difference and I am wearing a jacket. What a wimp.
